Don't Call it a Come Back

In my opinion, the greatest skate shoe of all time is the 23 Sal by Etnies. This skate shoe classic is coming back in Spring '09 in black and white colorways. The new Sal 23 is a slimmed down version of the original. One major difference is there is no longer the rubber pad on the front corner of the shoe in the bottom picture.

Rob Dyrdek Opens Skate Plaza in Los Angeles

Professional Skateboarder Rob Dyrdek opened a new skate plaza in Los Angeles called the Lafayette Park Safe Spot Skate Spot located near Downtown Los Angeles. The 7,000 square foot plaza has plenty of ledges, stairs, rails, and flat ground for local skaters to come and skate in an environment free of harassing security guards and expensive fines.
